Ogunbote upbeat Shooting Stars will improve on scoring form

Shooting Stars technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote has assured that the players will improve on their finishing.

Ogunbote emphasized that more still needs to be done on his team’s marksmanship.

The former Remo Stars coach admitted that converting two goals in their matchday one opener shows signs of improvement.

Shooting Stars defeated Plateau United 2-1 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Saturday.

“Before now, we have been crying that we have not been able to score goals but now that we’ve started with two goals, we have to improve on it,” he told the club’s media.

“Be it as it may, it wasn’t a bad one, give it to the team, we can always improve on what we have built.”
